Stay did not begin very good as the assigned room was very cramped, small closet(room was next to some storage area), holes in drapes, bed was not made properly and toilet handle stuck after every use. We had paid for a room with a jacuzzi as this was an "anniversary vacation". When we complained at the front desk, the lady was a bit rude and said 'you got the bed and jacuzzi you asked for, didn't you?' After we gave our list of complaints, the manager finally came to the front and was very professional and helpful. He changed our room. It was very nice, clean, had a full closet, etc. The manager inquired two more times as to our satifaction. The stay ended up being very nice. We would stay again.

Last week, my husband and me were in Niagara Falls and had a great time! The weather was fantastic. The city was in full bloom. Up where we are, it snowed the morning we left for Niagara. Seeing the greenery was such a uplifting change. We stayed at Howard Johnson Hotel on Victoria Avenue. It’s our second time there. They just completed renovations in the hotel and our room looked brand new. Everything is up-dated and it all looks fresh and new. All of the employees from the front desk to the cleaning ladies were all very friendly. They acknowledged our presence which I like. We got a bonus! While we were there, there was a Baskin Robbins Ice cream promotion. This Hojo has a Baskin Robbins in their food court just beside the front desk. The ice cream was selling for $* a scoop! And they had some tall, handsome firemen there. The promotion was to draw attention to the fallen fire fighters and the money raised goes to help the widows and families. A sad occasion, but a tasty solution. And we just love the Pizza Hut restaurant they have in the food court too. It’s super fresh and ready in 10 minutes. And not expensive. It was $* for a pizza. We stayed five nights – and that’s only because the prices are reasonable we could afford to stay five nights. We had a heart-shaped “tourbillon” in our room. OH! One word of caution. If you plan to stay at a Howard Johnson, BRING YOUR OWN CONDITIONER. They don’t hand any out. And you don’t get the combination shampoo and conditioner either. It’s just shampoo. The body wash smells SO GOOD! I recommend this hotel. It’s clean. The staff is professional. The prices are very,

This is our third trip back to the Howard Johnson as they always treat us great. The location is close to everything and the prices are very reasonable. There was construction going on at the Hotel but that was OK. They are renovating rooms and it was much improved for the same prices. The staff is always friendly to us and welcomed us back. We really enjoy our time in Niagara falls and at Howard Johnson.

We stayed for 5 nights and had great time. Most everything was within walking distance (for those that don't mind walking) and had many choices for eating. We got the Adventure package where we got our share of water on us. Even so, it was great coming back to the pool every night or afternoon to rest our tired feet. Kids loved the inside and outside parts of the pool but had to laugh at the advertised "giant waterslide". The food coupons included in the package helped keep down the costs. Room was clean and comfortable. My one pet peeve was the inconsistent internet connection. It was never very strong in our room and sometimes not at all. Staff admitted it was a problem. We found food to be expensive, especially with the extra tax with drinks (pop juice or water.
